Life is complex, chaotic, complicated, yet wonderful.
Sometimes, we have difficulty making sense and understanding our experiences, whether it’s something distressing or scary that has happened to us, an unhealthy coping mechanism we can’t seem to shake, or thoughts and feelings we’ve internalized that are not beneficial to our well-being.
You’ve decided it’s time to reevaluate your path and priorities.
You’re successful in school or at your job, take care of those important people around you, have great friends and maybe even a significant other (maybe not)… yet your passion for life, who you are, and what you want do in the world has become harder to find.
“Is anxious/sad/unfulfilling my new reality?”
What’s on the mind of my clients?
Clients come to me because they want to know why they experience certain emotions or engage in specific behaviors.
You may feel worried about making decisions regarding your future or being judged for the decisions you’ve made. Or, you’ve started to think about your family and upbringing… you’ve had new realizations or want to challenge some of the messages you received growing up.
You may feel confused or dissatisfied in your current career or questioning if this is the right career or schooling for you.
It’s possible you are looking to figure out how to find the right person, or is the person you’re dating the right person… or the wrong person… or do you even want a person?
There are so many choices.
Maybe you don’t know what you’re feeling, but you know that something is off or doesn’t feel right.
I know that feeling, too.
Where do these feelings come from?
We live in a fast-paced and highly judgmental society.
Our society is consumed in social media, unrealistic social expectations, economic uncertainty, career burnout, relationship changes, and overloaded pressure to have it figured out… no wonder we are experiencing the highest rates of mental health issues and consistent feelings of shame.
We continuously deal with unresolved traumas – physical, sexual, and emotional abuse that goes unnoticed; parental violence, divorce, and family chaos; horrific breakups we are supposed to get over; car accidents that are never talked about; assaults happening behind closed doors; increased substance use, addiction, and overdoses; and grief pushed to the side.
We are told to have it together, brush it off, and move forward… but is that realistic?
This is the space you’ve been looking for.
In therapy, you can leave the preconceived judgments outside of the room.
In my office, you can be (fill in the blank): vulnerable, authentic, sad, anxious, overwhelmed, and angry.
You get to be real, and I promise you that our conversations will be genuine, honest, and comfortable. In fact, it may even seem as though we have known each other for a long time.
… and you can take a deep breath!
This is a safe place for you to explore your fears and learn to tolerate difficult feelings. The skills, insights, and gains you learn in therapy are long-lasting and life-changing.
You’ll build emotional clarity, learn to manage your moods, increase your emotional intelligence, as well as understand how these may affect your happiness and relationships. Together, you will have an understanding about destructive beliefs or thoughts you tell yourself and how to rewrite your own narrative.
I will help you learn to make positive choices that align with your values and life goals, as well as discover inner resources and allies to help you feel confident and secure. Additionally, we will address old or new pain and grief to help you create a deeper meaning in your life.
My goal is to help you identify and work toward the changes you desire in your life and in your relationships, while helping you learn the skills and the tools to become more mindful, resilient, and compassionate toward yourself and others.
You deserve to feel happy, confident, and have a solid direction for your future.

I love everything about this state… who wouldn’t love 300 days of sunshine every year? When I am not playing outside (see favorite activities below), you can find me trying Denver’s best breweries, diving into my favorite Mexican food, or spending time with my closest people, partner, and pug, Wrigley.
When I am not in the office…
I am most likely outside running, hiking, camping, skiing, biking, and climbing. When I’m not outside, you can find me at my favorite indoor cycling studio or rock climbing gym.
Additionally, I am a travel buff and love exploring new places and cultures around the world.
